Parking charges apply all day every day, there are two parking machines, which both accept cash or contactless payments (including Apple Pay and Google Pay).  The parking is operated through ANPR (automatic number plate recognition), so when you arrive, your number plate will be captured, and you are then required to pay for your parking just before you return to your vehicle on leaving.

It is no longer pay & display, but pay when you leave the car park - on putting in your registration number, the parking machines will tell you how much you owe.

We do not use a parking app here as there is very little reliable phone reception.

If the machines are not working correctly please visit the Rangers at Durlston Castle.

  • Motorbikes - Parking charges still apply. Please use the designated parking space: Upon arrival, enter the first car park on the left, and park on the yellow box labelled 'Motorbikes' - image shown below.
  • Motorhomes - please park in a corner parking bay to enable other vehicles to park. If you park across multiple bays, you will need to purchase a ticket for each of the bays being used. Overnight parking is not allowed.
  • Electric Vehicles can charge using 2 MER Electric Charging Points in the car park. It is 22KW AC dual socket charger, so a maximum 11KW if two vehicle are charging. Parking charges apply.
  • Concessions are given only to Friends of Durlston for reduced rates. Parking charges still apply to Blue Badge holders.

There is an on-road parking order on car park and roads, so failure to comply with the parking regulations can lead to £60 fines.

If you do forget to pay, then please pay online via Park with Ease website (www.parkwithease.co.uk) then use the Make a Payment button and type in the registration number – it will come up with a price or an option of prices.

Payment through parkwithease will automatically remove you from the unpaid list and you will not be fined or contacted about this.
